Found GUILTY!

Olga Marina Franco Del Cid, aka, the undocumented illegal that killed those school bus kids,  was found guilty of all 24 counts, including criminal vehicular homicide.  This was all because she drove a minivan into a school buss and killed four students near Cottonwood, MN.

Sad as heck because it could have been prevented, and she was stopped before for driving without a license and it did not deter her.  VERY SAD, because nothing will bring those babies back to their families.

I am waiting for the sentencing to make any more comments.

More on the Illegal Alien who killed 4 kids.

The woman who is responsible for the deaths of 4 children in Cottonwood, MN has now been identified as Olga Marina Franco, 24 of Guatemala.

There have been lots of rumors about her which I won’t participate in.  I just know that she should NOT have been in this country and in the process of her committing an illegal act (living here) she managed to kill 4 young kids that had every right to be here.

Yes, I am MAD as hell about it.  Accidents happen, and it COULD have been anyone that missed that stop sign and hit that bus.  If we look at the overall circumstances, that isn’t what happened.  She has been in legal trouble before for driving without a license.  Was she actually deported then?  Was her legal status or id even checked into?  I don’t know the answers but I think it is fair to say I can guess.  If I were the law enforcement agency that pulled her over before and then released her, I would be a little worried.  If I were a parent of one of those children, I would be hiring a good lawyer right now.

Olga was allowed to fall through the cracks.  This happens FAR too much and the consequences are much the same.

Also, she is allowed to serve her time here in a prison in the US, prior to being deported.  This is a far better situation than if she were a US citizen who committed a crime in Mexico and had to stay there to serve the sentence.  Also, we have the added bonus as taxpayers to be footing the bill for her legal defense and her stay here.

I do not apologize for my views.  I am NOT a Latino hater.  I happen to have had several great friends over the years that were of Latino decent so don’t throw that crap down on me.  What I hate is people who willfully break the laws of this country with no apologies for it.

I will keep this story updated as this is all happening just miles from my home.

Woman kills 4 school children on bus…

I cannot print this story, so I am providing a link.  It was also reported on the news tonight that she was very possibly in this country illegally.  This story makes me sick.

Minnesota Precinct Caucus

Up until tonight, I had never attended a caucus.  I did not know what to do or what was involved here in the small town that I lived in.  We went to the local High School to see what was involved or what was to happen.  We were separated into townships.  From our township we were to choose delegates for the county caucus on March 15th.  My Mom and I were chosen which wasn’t hard because we were two of seven people and nine were needed.  I would imagine from the looks of the room, that would be the case in most of the townships.

The next step was to do a straw poll for the Republican candidate.  These were the numbers:

Huckabee 16
McCain 17
Paul 3
Romney 18

We will now go to the County Caucus and from there, who knows.  I think this is what they call learning on the fly!

Just for the record, the Republican party in our county is darn near extinct and most of the people that were there are on social security.  Looks a bit grim for the future as I am sure most of the younger people like myself that have conservative leanings were with their kids at sporting events or at home in front of the t.v.  The worst thing is that I was almost among them.  My Mommy made me go and I am thankful!

Does being a LEGAL Citizen count for anything?

My Husband and I have both been in our chosen professions for 21 years.  We are both legal, natural born citizens of the United States of America.  We both work hard at full-time jobs to be able to afford a house, food and the basics of life for us and our two children.  We don’t own fancy cars, a boat, a motor-home or anything.  We don’t have anything extraordinary.  We have been blessed to take some nice vacations in the last few years, but again, nothing wild and extravagant.

This week I was helping my customers at the bank I work at, as usual when I saw the group of illegal dairy workers come in to cash their checks.  I realized as I was counting out the hundred dollar bills, that these checks were more than my husband takes home a pay check.  He manages a service station, has to pay taxes, health insurance premiums, and from that he ends up with far less than these men who are here illegally working in the United States.

Needless to say, it made me sick.  I watch every night while my husband comes homes aching from his head to his toes.  He puts in about 11 hours on average a day for a salary.  He is a trustworthy, hardworking employee and has been for the 21 years he has been at his company.  Yet the politicians in Washington, in our State Government, and the local “business” men are unable to see the unfairness of this situation.  They don’t seem to understand that ILLEGAL means just that.

These “employees” of the dairy that come into where I work do NOT have accounts with out bank.  My bank goes out of their way to try to get their accounts, but it is an exercise in futility since they only cash their checks and send they money off to their families in Mexico.  They are NOT stimulating our economy.  They aren’t buying tires from my husbands station and they are not taking out loans with my bank.  In basic terms, they are not contributing to society.  They are taking from our taxes, committing crimes in the neighboring communities, and overall costing my family and myself an S**t load of money.

I sit here during an election year and hear nothing but how promises from the front running candidates on how they are going to further help the illegal aliens of this country to overrun it and continue to take from the pockets of the hardworking tax payers.

Nothing about this is fair.  Nothing about it is the way that our forefathers intended.  With no end in sight, I have little to no hope for an end.  When will our government wake up and put an end to this?

Can I divorce my party?

For the first time since I turned 18, I am wondering if I will be at the polls this fall voting like a good citizen.  There are many important issues in our Presidential election, but perhaps none as near and dear to my heart as the illegal immigration catastophe we see daily in America.  So much to my dismay, I have sat by and watched the Republican candidates skirt the issue of dealing with illegal immigration at every debate.  My personal thought is that they are afraid to address the issue for fear of losing support from one side or another.  This leaves me in a quandry.  What I know of John McCain…well I won’t vote for him.  I would vote for Romney, but I believe that much of the press and the Republican Pary old school have decided he isn’t “one of them”.

Immigration is a BIG issue with me.  Unlike the rich people who live in their mansions, have their kids in a private school and hire Imelda and Juan to clean their house and do their gardening, I am in the middle of the illegal immigration phenomena.  My kids go to public school.  I work in an industry where I “serve” illegal aliens on a daily basis knowingly.  I work hard for my $10.00 an hour in a job I have done for the past 21 years.  I watch people who make more money than me daily and don’t pay the taxes I pay, they don’t have the health care costs that my husband and I do.  They basically don’t live by the same rules as us, yet…they are committing a crime by the very fact that they are in the same community as me ILLEGALLY.

Lets face it, illegal immigration is a KEY issue, if not the key issue of this next election.  The disgusting part is that the very party I stand by, I confess to, I support with money and my loyalty is now very publically backing a candidate that is, in my opinion, on the wrong side of that issue.

So what do I do to be true to myself?  Lets say for the sake of argument that the candidates come this fall are Hillary Clinton and John McCain.  Someone tell me how I can, with a clear conscience actually vote for McCain KNOWING that he will let illegals across the border like rats into a sewer off fresh slop.  Will I be able to sit and not vote, knowing that the alternative means a woman in the White House whose very appearance makes me shrink in disgust and whose voice brings about feelings of loathing.

I promised my Mother that if Hillary were to make it to the White House again, I would be forced to not watch any news for at the very least, 4 years.  I am beginning to think that might be more of a possibility than I originally thought and worse yet, by not voting I could well help that along.

Hello world!

Hello!  Yes…I am another conservative voice in the world.  If you don’t like what I have to say, I don’t really care a whole lot.  I figure at my age, I am not out to make people happy, but rather be who I am.
