Does being a LEGAL Citizen count for anything?

My Husband and I have both been in our chosen professions for 21 years.  We are both legal, natural born citizens of the United States of America.  We both work hard at full-time jobs to be able to afford a house, food and the basics of life for us and our two children.  We don’t own fancy cars, a boat, a motor-home or anything.  We don’t have anything extraordinary.  We have been blessed to take some nice vacations in the last few years, but again, nothing wild and extravagant.

This week I was helping my customers at the bank I work at, as usual when I saw the group of illegal dairy workers come in to cash their checks.  I realized as I was counting out the hundred dollar bills, that these checks were more than my husband takes home a pay check.  He manages a service station, has to pay taxes, health insurance premiums, and from that he ends up with far less than these men who are here illegally working in the United States.

Needless to say, it made me sick.  I watch every night while my husband comes homes aching from his head to his toes.  He puts in about 11 hours on average a day for a salary.  He is a trustworthy, hardworking employee and has been for the 21 years he has been at his company.  Yet the politicians in Washington, in our State Government, and the local “business” men are unable to see the unfairness of this situation.  They don’t seem to understand that ILLEGAL means just that.

These “employees” of the dairy that come into where I work do NOT have accounts with out bank.  My bank goes out of their way to try to get their accounts, but it is an exercise in futility since they only cash their checks and send they money off to their families in Mexico.  They are NOT stimulating our economy.  They aren’t buying tires from my husbands station and they are not taking out loans with my bank.  In basic terms, they are not contributing to society.  They are taking from our taxes, committing crimes in the neighboring communities, and overall costing my family and myself an S**t load of money.

I sit here during an election year and hear nothing but how promises from the front running candidates on how they are going to further help the illegal aliens of this country to overrun it and continue to take from the pockets of the hardworking tax payers.

Nothing about this is fair.  Nothing about it is the way that our forefathers intended.  With no end in sight, I have little to no hope for an end.  When will our government wake up and put an end to this?

  1. The United States of America is a dying ideology due to so many ignorant complacent dumb-downed self-serving peasants. Maybe if We The People the LEGAL Citizens of America would rise up and take to the streets just like Illegal people do that have no rights in this country, and insist were not going to pay any more taxes until something is done maybe then they would hear us.

  2. I see you over at Adam’s.

I can’t even get started on illegal aliens without getting very upset.

I had my full of the injustice while in the hospitals w/ my baby for 6 months. After we almost ran out of health insurance with no good options, their babies got all the free medical care they needed.

I am still upset about it.

We will be on CNN tonight.
Broken Government ~ Healthcare ~ Critical Condition at 11 pm Eastern.

http://www.whomagoo.blogspot.com is my little “twonagers” blog.

In LV, 90% of traffic violators in traffic court are illegals without car insurance!

I wonder what it’s going to take for our politicians to get a grip.

  3. Hey there Terri!
I COMPLETELY hear you! It’s a mess. We left California because the health care disaster there. I was sick of seeing these women run the border to give birth in the US FREE of charge. Now its happening 30 miles east of us where I do most of my major shopping.
Needless to say, we are thinking of moving again.

I would like to know just what it will take for the politicians to listen. It will obviously take a lot more than what we have been doing so far.

  4. AmericanChaos,

I get your point, but what do we do together to make a stand?

  5. Too bad we couldn’t stop paying taxes until they listen to us. They are using our money to pay for things we don’t approve of.

I write my lawmakers all the time.
Our congressman, Jon Porter is all for the stupid anchor baby deal. I just hound him all the time now. I read that last year we spent 6 BILLION dollars on anchor babies

  6. Terri,
I hear you loud and clear. I do a lot of writing myself. The state I live in has welcomed illegal aliens so strongly, that the closest bigger town to me has very strong “Hispanic Action Groups” that stand up and bark loudly if they feel that rights are being infringed on.
If you take a stand and disagree, you are treated like a bigot instead of a concerned citizen.
I am open to any ideas.

  7. OMG… somehow I just lost my WHOLE NOTE!
    Oh well..

I’m not a racist or bigot.. but I’m tired of being affected by illegals… sitting in ER’s for 10 hours w/ dozens of illegals… paying for their medical treatment… our shcools here in Vegas are a mess… and are being dumbed down for the non English speaking kids… I will homeschool …

and all the illegals driving around causing accidents and not having car insurance…
hence the rate of my uninsured motorist more than doubling…

I say spend the 338 BILLION dollars on Americans that foot the bill.

Watch Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck, they are all over it…
    we get Glenn’s podcast.

  8. Terri,
You have it totally right! I grew up by the border of Mexico and I promise you that I graduated with kids of every color and race. I had friends from just about every social class. I am NOT a prejudice person. I just believe in the law of the country.
I personally disliked having people talk in another language two inches from my head whenever I was on public transportation.
Your story on health care is a prime example. The saddest part is that I see it all the time.

Lou and Glen have great information on their shows. I can hardly believe it since they are on CNN. Love them though!

  9. Take Back Our Country Song

    Hi,

Can you please place a link on your website / or blog; to this Take Back Our Country Song it’s a patriotic song that is very inspiring, and truthful. I wrote this song after being fed up with what I see happening in my neighborhood and to our country daily on the news.

I am just an ordinary citizen that went away to serve at age 19. And I am sick and tired of the lies and chaos our ELECTED SELLOUT OFFICIALS has put this country into. So I wanted to do my part, as a soldier of the USANG, I wrote this song and put it on this video.

My state Louisiana was hit hard by hurricane Katrina and hundreds of illegal aliens moved into our community took away jobs that we Americans were ready to do, and now crime has gone thru the roof. I am sick and tired of these people in my neighborhood and hanging out on our street corners. WE MUST DO SOMETHING TO PUT A STOP TO THIS!

Please check out my video Take Back Our Country Song on YouTube.com here’s the link. And FORWARD it to everyone on your email list. This is my way of fighting back and giving back to my country.

Please, I served my country in the US Army National Guards, and I hate what’s happening to our country. We must do all we can to Take Her Back!

    Thank you,
